Compass Tuition brings together experienced subject specialists in English, Physics and French, teaching students one-to-one and online, anywhere in the world.
Compass Tuition began with English and a simple belief: if you're committed to improving, we can and will help. Today we bring together specialists across English, Physics and French, each with decades of classroom experience and real insight into what exams demand.
We're exam-focused, but never at the expense of what makes learning stick: curiosity, confidence, and lessons students actually look forward to. We take the time to understand how each student learns, then teach in the way that works for them.
Everything is bespoke. You tell us what you want to work on, and we'll put together a package around it, starting with a free trial lesson and no obligation.
A small team of specialists, each teaching the subject they know inside out.
Our English tuition is led by a former Head of English and AQA examiner with around 30 years’ experience. That examiner’s insight means students learn exactly what the boards are looking for, across English Language and Literature from KS2 to A-Level, as well as professional English for the workplace.
Physics is taught by a former Head of Physics with 30 years’ experience in the classroom. The focus is always on real understanding rather than memorised formulas, building confidence from KS3 through GCSE and A-Level.
French is taught by a TEFL-qualified tutor with experience teaching both French-speaking and English-speaking students. That bilingual, immersive background builds genuine, usable confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing, from KS3 to A-Level.
